NC Associates is partnering with a well-established manufacturing business based in Deeside who are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their finance team. This is a hands-on role within a busy environment where accuracy and attention to detail are key. You’ll be supporting across purchase ledger, sales ledger and month-end, giving you solid all-round exposure within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

• Processing high-volume purchase invoices and matching to purchase orders
• Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving queries
• Assisting with weekly/monthly payment runs
• Raising and posting sales invoices
• Supporting credit control activities and chasing overdue payments
• Posting journals including accruals and prepayments
• Assisting with stock reconciliations and costings
• Daily bank postings and reconciliations
• Supporting month-end close processes
• Maintaining accurate records on the finance system to prevent backlog and delays
• Liaising with internal departments including operations, purchasing and logistics to resolve invoice or cost queries

• Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant role
• Experience with in manufacturing or stock-based environments (desirable)
• Confident using Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables beneficial)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
• A proactive and organised approach
