the Opportunity

This role is available due to an internal transition, offering a great opportunity for a new team member to join and make an impact.

The Finance Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses and credit cards and bank reconciliation. This role ensures the efficient operation of day‑to‑day financial activities.

To be considered, candidates must currently reside and be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.

About the Responsibilities Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Review, verify, and process supplier invoices daily
  • Prepare supplier payment run twice a month
  • Record outgoing payments
  • Maintain accurate and updated supplier records
  • Resolve discrepancies and respond to supplier inquiries
Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Generate and issue customer invoices
  • Record and apply incoming payments
  • Maintain accurate and updated customer records
  • Reconcile customer accounts
Expense Claim Management
  • Review and process all expense claims, ensuring that they have been approved beforehand
  • Ensure all expenses are properly documented and coded
Credit Card Reconciliation
  • Record and categorise all credit card transactions
  • Ensure all credit card transactions are supported by adequate backup
  • Reconcile monthly credit card statements with internal records
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or unauthorised charges
General Bookkeeping
  • Reconcile bank accounts and financial records daily to ensure the running of a real‑time system
  • Update the revenue forecast spreadsheet when invoices are sent to clients
  • Carry out UA commission calculations as part of the month‑end process
  • Lead month end close process
About You
  • 3‑4 years accounting experience with focus on AP/AR and expense management
  • Proficiency with Xero accounting software highly regarded
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, reconciliations)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self‑starter and ability to work independently
  • Problem‑solving and analytical skills
