- Position: Casual Swim Teacher level 2
- Shift: Early evening between Mon - Fri 15.00 - 18.45 / Sat 8.00am – 11.45am (actual shifts TBC)
- Working Pattern: Evenings/part time/weekends and will require an Enhanced DBS Check.
Volair is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic engaging and inspiring individual to join our highly successful swimming team, delivering Volair’s Swim Programme at Huyton Leisure Centre.
Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Volair Swimming Teacher, you must be passionate about helping people of all ages and abilities learn to swim. In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital role in developing water safety skills and fostering a love of swimming in students of all ages and abilities.
- Develop and deliver engaging swim lessons tailored to individual student needs and skill levels.
- Instruct proper swimming techniques, water safety procedures, and pool etiquette.
- Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to help students build confidence and achieve their goals.
- Ensure a safe and fun learning environment for all swimmers.
- Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.
- Engage, coach, and inspire our members of all ages and abilities to achieve their swimming goals
- Be a positive role model with a fun, engaging approach to lessons.
- Be part of a motivated team fully embracing our company values and standards.
- Support the varied programme of activities and sessions.
- Strong swimming ability and a proven understanding of proper swimming techniques.
- Minimum of [Required Swim Instruction Certification] (e.g., ASA Level 2 Swimming Teaching Certificate, STA Level 2 Certificate in Swimming Teaching).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patience skills.
- Ability to effectively engage and motivate students in a pool setting.
