Humanities Teacher

Are you a passionate educator who believes that history, geography, and RE are the keys to helping students understand their place in the world? We are seeking an inspiring Humanities Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' SEND school in Huyton.

This is a full-time, long-term Teaching role starting as soon as possible. You'll be joining a school that isn't just a place of learning, but a community that prioritises the wellbeing of its staff and the individual growth of every pupil.

You will be delivering a creative and adapted Humanities curriculum to small classes of students with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across History, Geography, and Religious Education.
• Differentiating resources to ensure the curriculum is accessible for students with ASD and MLD.
• Working closely with a team of dedicated Teaching Assistants to provide a supportive environment.
• Fostering a classroom atmosphere where students feel safe to explore and express themselves.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A genuine passion for working within Special Educational Needs.
• The ability to remain patient, empathetic, and resilient.
