We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming one‑form entry primary school in Prescot. This is a fantastic opportunity to support Year 6 pupils during a crucial stage of their learning journey, including SATs preparation.
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons and interventions in the absence of the class teacher.
- Support pupils’ academic progress and well‑being, ensuring an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom management, small group work, and targeted interventions for core subjects.
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a primary setting.
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, particularly Year 6 SATs preparation.
- Ability to manage a classroom confidently and deliver engaging lessons.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
