• Hours of work: 19.5 hours per week (over 3 days)
• Working pattern: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
• Term weeks: 38 + 1 weeks school closure, minimum paid week 44.6

Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in education? Kirkby Stephen Grammar School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our friendly team.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes during short-term teacher absence.
• Ensure students remain on task and engaged with their learning.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Provide support across a range of subjects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to contribute to their success. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Confidence and flexibility to work across different subjects.
• Previous experience in education or working with young people is desirable but not essential.
