PPA Primary Teacher - Full Time Position, Primary School, Huyton

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and adaptable PPA Primary Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team at a welcoming primary school in Huyton. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work across various year groups, providing high‑quality teaching and ensuring a positive learning experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) cover across different year groups, ensuring consistent and engaging lessons.
  • Plan and deliver a creative, stimulating, and inclusive curriculum that meets the needs of all learners, promoting a love for learning.
  • Support students’ academic and personal development, helping them achieve their full potential through effective teaching and personalized support.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, fostering a positive and respectful learning environment.
  • Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCo to ensure the needs of students with additional learning needs are met.
  • Provide feedback to students in a constructive and encouraging manner, promoting self‑confidence and motivation.
  • Contribute to the school’s wider development by participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
The Ideal Candidate
  • A qualified Primary Teacher with QTS, passionate about teaching and committed to providing the highest standards of education.
  • A versatile and flexible teacher able to deliver engaging lessons across different year groups.
  • Strong classroom management skills, maintaining a calm and focused environment for students.
  • A good understanding of the primary curriculum and the ability to adapt lessons to suit all learners.
  • Experience or training in differentiation techniques and supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) – desirable but not essential.
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive approach with a strong desire to contribute to the school community and make a positive impact on students’ learning.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
