Maintenance Specialist II — Kinston, NC

Compensation Includes:
Starting pay rate of $29.88 - $32.60 per hour, depending on experience, paid weekly.

Available Shift: 2nd shift, 4:00pm – 12:00am;
Monday – Friday with some Saturdays as needed.

• Perform all preventative maintenance on machinery and auxiliary equipment as required and as delegated by the Manager
• Rebuild machine parts as necessary and reinstall as needed
• Perform prep work, setup and installation of new equipment
• Ensure all equipment and machinery are operating properly during the shift
• Read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic blueprints and sketches
• Read and use tools: ruler, micrometer, calipers, and assorted hand tools
• Read repair manuals for machinery with comprehension
• Perform designs, fabrication, weld and burn with torch as needed
• Have basic lathe and milling machine experience
• Adhere to lock-out / tag-out procedures while performing work on machines or equipment
• Keep areas around equipment safe and maintain a clean, organized work area at all times
• Maintain overall mechanical knowledge across manufacturing operations and equipment to ensure efficient operations

• 5+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Ability to read blueprints with comprehension and perform math functions
• Knowledgeable in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics; understanding of welding and fabrication
• Electrical troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of basic controls, VFDs, PLCs and PCs
• Experience with electrical repairs and general building maintenance
• Proficiency with common hand and power tools
