LM2 Resource Solutions, is working with an outstanding client in Kinston, NC andis seeking an experienced Industrial Machine Mechanic to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.

As an Industrial Machine Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment in our production facility. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that all machines are running efficiently and downtime is minimized. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting regular maintenance and inspections on industrial machines and equipment
• Identifying and diagnosing mechanical issues and implementing appropriate solutions
• Repairing or replacing faulty components and performing necessary adjustments
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine performance
• Collaborating with production team to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime
• Maintaining accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Recommending and implementing improvements to increase machine efficiency and productivity
• Training and mentoring junior mechanics and technicians

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, technical degree or certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Industrial Machine Mechanic
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with various types of industrial machinery and equipment
• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed
