Locums Urgent Care (NP/PA) Outpatient Kinston, NCWhy This Role
- Ongoing urgent care coverage with multiple shifts available
- Outpatient only, no call required
- Steady patient flow with diverse urgent care cases
- Lives within 65-mile radius of sites Requirements
- Board Certified NP or PA (NCCPA / NP Boards)
- Active NC license
- Minimum 12 months urgent care / acute care / EM experience (no new grads)
- BLS required
- Proficiency in Epic (must use EMR for all visits)
- Strong soft skills to work independently as sole provider

Urgent Care center - Schedule:
Full shifts, provider is sole clinician on-site - Patients Per Shift: Avg. 30 (up to 40)
- Support Staff:
Center Manager, MA, PSA;
Supervising physician offsite - Cases:
Adult + pediatric urgent care - Procedures: I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, minor procedures Compensation
- Rate (capped): $85/hr
- Malpractice:
Provided - Travel:
