Field Service Technician

Location: Scotland

Field Service Technician Up to £45,000 Plus van  Benefits Wiltshire (Covering SW region) MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a global leader in energy and power generation technologies to recruit a Field Service Technician to join their expanding UK service team. This is a field-based role covering sites across the South West region, supporting the maintenance and servicing of compressors, pumps, large gas engines used in CHP and renewable energy applications.

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
· Perform maintenance and servicing of mechanical process equipment
· Planned and reactive maintenance on compressors, pumps, motors, and gas engines (MAN / Jenbacher / MTU)
· Install, configure, and calibrate equipment
· Troubleshoot process issues both onsite and remotely as part of an on-call rotation
· Execute scheduled and reactive maintenance according to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
· Be available for regular travel within the UK in the South West region
· Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times
· Other duties as required To be considered for this role you should have:
· An engineering qualification (HND / HNC or Degree is preferred)
· Multi-skilled with mechanical bias (75/25 ideal)
· A good understanding of PLCs is desirable
· Flexibility with working hours, as being part of an On-Call Rota and call out service is expected (On-call & Overtime Paid)
· Relevant industry experience ideally with CHP Gas Engines, Biogas, Anaerobic Digestion, Marine Engineering (pumps, motors), and/or Power Generation.
