Health & Safety Manager
- North of Scotland
The Role
As Health & Safety Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring compliance with UK space regulations and fostering a strong safety culture across all operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain an effective Safety Management System (SMS) in compliance with SIR
* 2021 and SIA 2018.
* Ensure all licensed activities and personnel comply with UK space safety regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and drive continuous improvement in HSE performance.
* Coordinate with clients, contractors, and international partners to ensure adherence to UK safety standards.
* Review safety cases and implement health & safety policies across spaceport and support sites.
* Deliver training programs and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organisation.
* Track and report health & safety performance to senior management.
Requirements
* Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and space industry regulations.
* Experience in SMS development and compliance monitoring.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.

* Salary- £80-90K.
* Relocation package.
