Recruitment Consultant

Location: Scotland

Russell Taylor Group are looking for an experienced Construction Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team, focusing on blue-collar construction trades across Scotland. This is a hands-on, 360 recruitment role, suited to someone who understands the construction industry, is confident dealing with site managers and contractors, and knows how to build long-term client relationships. You'll take ownership of your own desk, manage existing accounts, and develop new business while placing reliable trades and site staff into projects across the whole of Scotland.

About the Role:

Running a full 360 recruitment desk within blue-collar construction Recruiting trades and site staff (e.g. Joiners, Bricklayers, Ground workers, Labourers, Plant Ops, Supervisors) Building strong relationships with contractors, developers, and site managers Winning new business and developing existing client accounts Registering, vetting, and managing candidates Booking workers onto sites and managing day-to-day requirements Negotiating rates, terms, and contracts Ensuring compliance with right-to-work, CSCS, and industry regulations Candidate Specification:
Proven experience as a Construction Recruitment Consultant (blue collar essential) Strong knowledge of the Scottish construction market Confident, resilient, and target-driven Comfortable dealing with site teams and decision-makers Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work at pace and manage multiple live vacancies Full UK driving licence preferred What's on
