We are recruiting an Assistant Building Surveyor to join a well-established Social Housing Group in Cambridgeshire . Whats on offer:
Salary: £30,000 per annum

Contract:

Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week) Working pattern:
Hybrid 12 days office-based, remainder on site

Carrying out stock condition, maintenance and pre/post inspections Producing floor plans and technical reports Diagnosing defects including damp and mould Supporting major works and preparing specifications Ensuring compliance with building regulations, CDM and safety standards (asbestos, fire, legionella) Liaising with tenants, contractors and stakeholders Participating in the on-call rota and supporting safeguarding procedures The successful Assistant Building Surveyor will have:
Ideally two years experience within social housing or a similar environment Knowledge of construction, maintenance, building regulations and health & safety Strong communication, problem-solving and IT skills A proactive and organised approach Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel This role is ideal for an ambitious Assistant Building Surveyor looking to build long-term experience within asset management and property maintenance.
