Dollar General - - Responsibilities:
Assist Store Manager in managing the Perishable Departments including produce, fresh meat, packaged meats, dairy, frozen food, bread, and bakery products;
Assist with inventory management, merchandise presentation, and customer service;
Train associates in perishable presentation, freshness, pricing, and safe handling of food;
Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences;
Maintain inventory levels and ensure sanitation standards in the Perishable departments
