Qualifications:
* Experience coaching track and field; experience working with students
* Previous interscholastic coaching experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
* Teach the skills and strategies of track and field to high school student-athletes.
* Be a role-model and teacher of track and field, including: practice, meet day coaching, conditioning of athletes, supervision of athletes, maintenance of practice facility and equipment.
* Determine awards for students and provide the athletic department with a list of team needs. Communicate regularly with families as needed.
Salary is a stipend for the between $1,800 - $3,000 depending on experience as outlined in the SLEA contract.
