DrPA is recruiting for an experienced & motivated healthcare service manager with exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills to join our friendly team.
DrPA Secure provides GP services to approximately 30 HMP/detained sites across the country. The Service Manager will work closely with our internal team and external partners ensuring a high‑quality GP service provision.
This role is full‑time and is remote.
Main duties of the job- The Management and leadership of the GP service line team
- The team, which includes GP relation manager / workforce planner
- Allocation of Advanced Nurse Practitioners across the sites
- Planning, preparing and presenting at external stakeholder meetings
- Ensuring that the team’s actions are delegated and fully completed within the specified timescale
- Ensuring complaints/processes/guidance processes are in line with company policy
- Overseeing the completion of audits, developing and completing action plans as part of the regulatory framework

- The successful candidate will develop professional relationships with external partners, promote a positive work culture, and foster excellent team‑working relationships. They will be proactive, prioritise workload and be solutions focused.
- Keep the Executive team informed of strategic service development, ensuring the service provides high quality GP care.
- Ensure recruitment, training, performance, management and staff wellbeing is kept to a high standard.
- Keep up to date with changes within Health and Justice and related legislation.
- Bring innovation into the service and coordinate projects within the service line.
- Develop, maintain and grow external stakeholder relationships.
- Support regulatory frameworks such as the CQC within our commissioned services.
- Educated to a degree level on business or healthcare.
- Experience of managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience of HR process, workforce planning and development.
- Experience of performance management including appraisals.
- Experience of working in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
