Cover Supervisor

Position: Cover Supervisor (Contract)
Protocol Education are a specialist education recruitment agency currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to start as soon as possible in a secondary school in Kingston upon Thames.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover staff looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive school environment.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Supervise classes during teacher absences across a range of subjects

Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain on task

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

The Ideal Candidate

Confident managing a classroom of secondary-aged students

Strong communication and organisational skills

A positive, proactive attitude

Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
