Location : Site based - North East

Contract duration : 30 month contract, potential further extensions. Inside IR35 (PAYE / Umbrella)

Currently responsible for the design, construction and operation of safe and sustainable complex infrastructure and plants. We are looking for a Construction Engineer who will be responsible for the management of the construction works of a large tanks and containers for a Green Hydrogen Project.

• Prioritise and enforce safety protocols and practise throughout the project to minimise risk and ensure safe working environment.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure construction works meet the required quality standards and specifications
• Accountable for safe, compliant delivery of the designed activities and steps within the construction / commissioning procedures defined as per the quality expectations of the project
• Design Coordination :
  Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure that the works meet technical specifications.
• Monitor Project progress, tracking milestones and address any delays or deviations from the schedule to ensure timely project completion.
• Support Construction manager for budgets for subcontracted works, establish the construction budget & progress control and reporting.

• HNC / HND or equivalent in Engineering such as Civil, Mechanical or E&I
• 5+ years of working in Construction & Commissioning roles

• A strong track record in project delivery or in supporting complex Project management involving Civil Works, Steel Structures, Piping, Reinforced Concrete, Tanks
• An understanding of the standards and protocols of the industry
• An understanding of industry standards

• Cryogenic Tanks
• Major Infrastructure or industrial project experience
• 5+ years’ experience in mid to large scale engineering projects
