Position: Media Sales Opportunities

Overview

Experienced Media Sales Executive – Kingston, Canada (Hybrid: 2 Days/Week in Office). We’re building our Kingston, Canada sales team to expand our pipeline of energetic and talented sales professionals for B2B titles and events. This posting is to build a talent pool for anticipated future vacancies in 2026 and beyond in our Kingston office. Location & work model
  • Based in Kingston, Canada
  • Hybrid – typically 2 days per week in our Kingston office, with flexibility to work remotely on other days

What you’ll do (typical responsibilities)

On a day-to-day basis, our media sales professionals are responsible for:

  • Account management of existing customers and new business development
  • Working with some of the world’s fastest‑growing global brands
  • Enjoying the benefits of a vibrant and growing market with huge opportunities for growth

Positions typically involve:

  • Media sales – representing strong B2B media brands in various business verticals (e.g. Insurance, Mortgage, Wealth, Legal, HR, etc.)
  • Innovation – introducing new and innovative ad technology opportunities for our advertisers
  • Account management – working with clients ranging from SMEs to big corporates (direct and through agencies)
  • Business development – cultivating new business opportunities across a range of clients
  • Collaboration – working closely with a range of people across the company (sales, marketing, editorial and design)
  • Working to realistic KPIs and updating our CRM on a regular basis
About you

We are particularly interested in candidates who:

  • Have media sales experience – 3+ years of proven, successful advertising sales experience (digital/B2B experience strongly preferred)
  • Are results‑driven, self‑motivated, and willing to go the extra mile to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Have strong communication skills – superior client liaison, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Are comfortable working with senior stakeholders at agencies and brands
  • Are based in, or willing to relocate to, Kingston, Canada and can work in‑office 2 days per week as part of our hybrid model when roles become available
