Order Picker (Overnight)

Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent Order Picker for our distribution centre in Brockville, Ontario! We are looking for a self‑motivated and reliable individual who has a positive attitude and adapts well to change.

• Pick store orders in accordance to the pick label, focusing on accuracy
• Pile various size boxes onto skids, ensuring neat, safe, and secure piles
• Lift boxes with a weight range of 1 - 50 pounds
• Operate an electric pallet truck capable of pulling 2 skids at a time. Identify picked skids with pallet tags indicating store number, picker name, and total quantity of skids
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and comply with Ontario Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) standards
• Various warehouse duties, as prescribed by the supervisor

• Completion of High School
• Experience as an Order Picker or a similar position
• Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift heavy items for extended periods of time
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be comfortable working in a cold environment, as low as
  -18◦ Celsius, for extended periods

Sunday - Thursday, 11:30pm - 8:00am

$19.43

The expected pay rate for this position is listed above, and Giant Tiger offers guaranteed increases based on cumulative hours worked. Please note that overnight shifts and working in our cold storage location qualify for hourly premiums, further increasing your earning potential.

We automatically contribute 6% of your annual earnings to a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan account for you, fully funded by the company for all permanent, full‑time employees.
