Our client, the electric motor manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will be part of the engineering support team supporting process improvements, equipment reliability, and quality enhancement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Technician
Location: Brockville
Pay Range: $80000 - $100000
What's the Job?
- Ensure the Brockville facility delivers high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective motor refurbishment processes.
- Own technical problem-solving, process improvements, and operational engineering solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive work instructions, control plans, and process documentation.
- Maintain equipment uptime through preventive maintenance planning and root cause analysis.
- Drive measurable improvements in quality, throughput, and reliability through engineering initiatives.
What's Needed?
- Experience in motor or coil engineering, including winding, insulation systems, testing, and manufacturing methods.
- Ability to design, validate, and scale manufacturing processes with a focus on industrialization.
- Strong analytical skills utilizing KPIs, data, and structured problem-solving techniques.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance support.
- Excellent documentation discipline, including specifications, PFMEAs, control plans, and SOPs.
