Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2332) rting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.00 USD per hour. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and there is no Final date to receive applications.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and resolve guest concerns.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for their visit to Target.
• Know and explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain features and offerings within the Target App including Wallet; direct guests to enroll and use Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Assist with returns following store policies and procedures, escalating to leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage stock during store hours as needed.
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) orders, and DU returns in a compliant manner, including applicable adult beverage laws where required.
• Follow safety policies, report hazards, and uphold ethical conduct and compliance.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office operations as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with assistance if needed.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
