Medical Surgical​/Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program:
Qualivis Program - Ballad Health.

Additional Details:

Required skills and experience: MS/Tele and MS Exp required. Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Ortho trauma, Total joint replacement, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur Evac, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac

Required credentials: BSN required for international clinicians. Labs:
Candidates must commit to getting their drug test completed within 12 - 14 calendar days prior to start. Drivers License/State  issued photo .

36/36 schedule
Every other weekend
No Call

This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted eduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. xrlwcon Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
