Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position with night shifts, requiring a TN or compact license and MS/Tele experience.
Responsibilities
• Work in an Ortho/Spine/Med/Surg Tele unit
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 18:30 to 07:00
• Every other weekend is required
• Floating to other units is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio is 1:7 on MS unit
• Nurses are expected to support and participate in clinical education for nursing students
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs
• Scrub requirements are not specified
• Hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly based on census without penalty
Requirements
• Active RN license from TN or compact state required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Tele hospital experience required
• AHA BLS certification required
• MS/Tele and Med/Surg experience required
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• First time travelers are accepted
