Overview

Multi-Unit Team Leader at H&R Block. You will provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, using your people management experience to lead customer-centric teams and accelerate seasonal tax business. This role is not remote and requires in-person work.

Responsibilities
  • Front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates across three tax offices
  • Deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office-related growth objectives
  • Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders
  • Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets
  • Develop local partnerships and manage office community involvement
  • Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions
  • Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns with support from the Associate Relations Center
  • Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training and coaching
  • Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates
  • Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management
  • Travel between offices as required
  • Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment*
Your Experience and Qualifications
  • People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates
  • Demonstrated aptitude for executing growth plans and fostering a growth-oriented culture
  • Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns)*
