Overview

Corporate Director Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Services at Ballad Health (AMN Healthcare Leadership Solutions | B.E. Smith). The Corporate Director of Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Services will lead and manage the strategic direction of the health system outpatient pharmacies (5), specialty pharmacies (3), home infusion pharmacy (1) and medication management (MTM) clinic services. This role reports to the Chief Pharmacy Officer and oversees a team of five FTEs.

• Lead and manage the strategic direction of outpatient and related pharmacy services across multiple sites, including retail, specialty, home infusion, and MTM clinic services.
• Oversee a team of five full-time equivalents (FTEs).
• Complete a comprehensive assessment of all retail pharmacy operations; collaborate with the Specialty Pharmacy Director to evaluate and develop a central fill station; assess the pharmacy-led weight loss center and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) clinic.
• Demonstrate subject matter expertise in ambulatory pharmacy with strong business acumen; be a goal-driven, hands-on leader with minimal oversight; ensure compliance, self-awareness, and continuous improvement.
• Bring experience across retail, specialty, and MTM pharmacy services to drive success in this role.

  D required. MBA or Master’s in Business Administration or Management preferred.
• Active Tennessee Pharmacy License or eligibility to obtain one.
• BCPS or BVACP certification required.
• Minimum of eight years of progressive leadership experience, including at least three years as a clinical coordinator in a similar setting, with at least three years of direct supervision of front-line staff.
