Service Advisor - BMW

As a Service Advisor, you will be the vital link between our customer base and the service team. You will identify the need for, sell, and schedule service work. You will be representing the BMW center to service clients and serve both the client and their vehicle's best interest (our team will not recommend or up-sell a service unless it is genuinely needed/recommended).

You will also serve as a liaison between the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, Parts personnel, Technicians and Warranty Administration to maintain good relationships and communication between all parties. This position is centered around building relationships with our BMW clients, and doing what you can to keep them on the road safely and happily. Please note that this position does not require you to have prior knowledge of our vehicles or standard services.

While it is helpful, it is not required and you will learn quickly.

• Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly and professionally, assess their service needs, and ensure a seamless check-in and check-out process. Establish ongoing relationships with our BMW owners.
• Service Consultation: Explain service options, recommend necessary maintenance and repairs, responsibly promote the sale of necessary services, parts and accessories, and provide accurate cost and time estimates.
• Coordination: Act as the communication hub between the customer and the service team, ensuring a smooth process with clear and timely updates.
• Documentation: Accurately create, update, and maintain service records, warranty claims, and repair orders.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure each customer leaves with a clear understanding of services performed and a sense of confidence in our dealership.

• Prior experience as a Service Advisor a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance terminology a plus.
• Proficiency in dealership management software a plus (Dealer track, xTime, MyKarma, etc.).
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
