Position: CRNA - Atrium Health Kings Mountain PRN

Pay Range: $175.00 - $175.00

It manages 1,600 cases per year with services including Pediatric Dental, Spine, Ortho, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, Vascular, and General Surgery.

Atrium Health Kings Mountain is located in Kings Mountain, NC, about 35 minutes west of uptown Charlotte, in the Charlotte metropolitan area. The area offers access to the mountains and the coast with convenient highway connections.

About the Opportunity / Position Highlights
  • AH-Kings Mountain case variety includes Pediatric Dental, Spine, Ortho, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, Vascular, and General Surgery.
  • Shift opportunities focus on day and afternoon opportunities.
  • Opportunity to participate in committees and teaching opportunities for varied allied health care learners as well as SRNAs from the CMC/UNCC Nurse Anesthesia Program.
Responsibilities
  • Assembles necessary supplies and equipment, and administers intravenous, spinal, and other anesthetics prior to surgical or other medical procedures.
  • Monitors patients’ reactions and vital signs during and after anesthesia and takes remedial action when warranted.
  • Submits postoperative report on patients' condition and maintains records of anesthetics administered.
Qualifications

NC RN licensure required. Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia required. CRNA licensure required. BLS and ACLS PALS from AHA required.
