Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Clinical Specialist Practitioner to join our West Norfolk Adult Community Mental Health Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary service delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care to adults with complex mental health needs in the community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist clinical leadership
    , manage a complex caseload, and contribute to service development, supervision, and quality improvement within the team.
  • Deliver advanced mental health assessments
    , formulation, and evidence-based interventions for adults with complex and enduring mental health difficulties.
  • Hold and manage a complex caseload
    , acting as Care Coordinator under the Care Programme Approach (CPA) where appropriate.
  • Undertake comprehensive risk assessments and risk management
    , including safeguarding and crisis planning.
  • Provide specialist clinical advice, consultation, and leadership within the multidisciplinary team.
  • Support service delivery in line with NSFT policies, NICE guidance, and national standards.
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and audit activity
    .
  • Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and support to junior staff and students.
  • Work collaboratively with primary care, social care, voluntary sector, and other partner agencies.
