Engage Norfolk specialises in providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism, and associated needs. Our personalised and tailored approach to service design and delivery means we are ideal for individuals with high and/or complex needs, often where other services have been unable to help. The main goal of every package we deliver is to support the individual to live a fulfilling and meaningful life, with their voice at the very heart.
We are currently looking for friendly, outgoing, and passionate individuals to join our Community Support team based in King's Lynn, and providing support across West Norfolk. The primary purpose of this role is to deliver social support, encouraging and enabling the individuals you support to pursue their own hobbies and interests, however, due to the high/complex needs of the individuals we support, some personal care may be required.
This is a Casual (Ad-Hoc) position to help us during high demand times (school holidays) as well as to provide cover during absence of the regular hours team (i.e. to cover sickness and holidays). We support Service Users with a wide range of needs from mild to very complex, and across a wide age range, from children aged 8 years through to the elderly.
A wide variety of experience and skills as well as good availability will enable us to offer more hours as you will be suitable to support a greater range of Service Users, however, we are particularly keen to hear from individuals with availability during the school holidays and experience working with SEND children.
