Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position requiring at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience and telemetry familiarity, with day shifts and every other weekend coverage.
Responsibilities- Hospital Medical Surgical unit setting
- Patient ratio of 1:5-6
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to other Med/Surg units may be required
- Charting via Meditech (experience preferred but not required)
- Remote telemetry monitoring may be required
- Orientation held every Monday
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
- Active AZ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
- Telemetry experience required due to potential for remote telemetry monitoring
- Two professional references required for consideration
- PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
