Position: CASA Program Coordinator I - Superior Court

Overview

Job Summary

Under general supervision, recruits, screens, trains, and supervises capable volunteers from the community to advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children involved in the juvenile court system and attend dependency hearings. Part-time 20 hours per week, partial benefits eligible position.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Sociology, Psychology or closely related field AND one (1) year of relevant, progressively responsible administrative experience including one year in a court, justice related, substance abuse treatment or child welfare organization OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Employee Benefits

Medical:
Mohave County provides two options for Self Insured Medical Plan, paid by Employee & Employer, to regular employees (employees who work at least 30 hours per week). The plans include pharmacy benefits and use the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona network for Arizona coverage and the Aetna Choice POS II network for out-of-state coverage. Plan options include:

  • PLAN 1: EPO with deductible $1,200 per person; out-of-pocket maximum $6,300 single / $12,700 family.
  • PLAN 2: HDHP with out-of-pocket maximum $3,250 single / $6,500 family.

Out of Pocket Maximum includes deductible, copays, and prescription drug costs. Teladoc is available 24/7 for non-emergent conditions. Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options are available as described in the benefits summary.

  • FSA:
    Health care up to $3,200/year;
    Dependent care up to $2,500/year
  • HSA:
    Up to $4,150 single / $8,300 family (employee contributions)

Dental and Vision insurance options are available through Ameritas with plan details provided by the benefit summary. Short-Term Disability is provided by Mohave County. Life Insurance is provided with options for voluntary benefits.

  • Basic Life Insurance / AD&D: $50,000

Retirement Systems:
Mohave County participates in multiple retirement plans (ASRS, CORP, AOC-CORP, PSPRS) with applicable contribution rules. See plan documents for specifics.

Additional Benefits include 11 paid holidays, payroll direct deposit, Paid Time Off (vacation/sick time), pre-tax deductions, partial premium coverage, and Bereavement Leave.
