Great opportunity to be a part of our dynamic Urgent Care team - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant. We are located in beautiful northwest Arizona, Kingman, AZ. Kingman offers stunning sunsets, mountain ranges, nearby lakes, vibrant parks, and ample outdoor activities.
Position
Purpose:
Provides nursing assistance and patient care to support the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients. Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in a medical office setting and performs a variety of patient care duties within a multidisciplinary team as delegated by a physician.
Full Time/Days 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. This is a 12-hour schedule for 3 days a week. Shifts may include holidays and weekends. Extra pay for weekend hours.

- LPN
- Works under the direction of the provider and the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act to provide professional nursing care for clinic patients in compliance with nursing standards and regulations.
- Triage patients by phone or in person, receive and implement telephone physician orders, and maintain clinical communication in a dynamic environment.
- Assist providers and staff in coordinating patient care for both clinic and procedures.
- Performs CLIA waived lab tests and obtains specimens, performs proficiency testing and runs controls for waived tests.
- May perform venipuncture.
- MA
- Responsible for patient care under the direct supervision (in the office suite or exam room) of a Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner.
- Escorts patient to the exam room and prepares patient for the exam including vital signs, history, and reason for seeking care.
- Cross trains in data entry, balancing of accounts, charge fees and collect payments due; schedules/confirms appointments.
- Performs CLIA waived lab tests and obtains specimens, performs proficiency testing and runs controls for waived tests.
- May perform venipuncture.
- LPN Candidates
- Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program
- High school or Equivalent
- Current, valid Arizona LPN license or compact state LPN/LVN license
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
- DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- MA Candidates
- High School or Equivalent
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
- DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must meet one of the following criteria:
- Has attended a medical assistant training program accredited by one of the following:
The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools - If the Medical Assistant program was not accredited by one of the above agencies, you will need to have a Medical Assistant Certification issued by one of the following. If needed, we will assist you in obtaining a CCMA certification.
- National Health career Association: CCMA
- American Medical Technologist: RMA
- American Association of Medical Assistants: AAMA
- National Center for Competency Testing: NCMA
- American Medical Certification Association: CMAC
- Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States
Must be able to distinguish appropriate colors, communicate by telephone, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Able to stand/walk for most of the day with some bending, squatting, kneeling, and sitting. Potential exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues and to chemicals, biological, and radioactive substances.
