Unlock your potential for professional development. We are hiring a Respiratory Care Practitioner III (RRT), Full Time/Days to join our Respiratory Therapy Team. Located in northwest Arizona, Kingman has a mild climate with stunning Arizona sunsets. Kingman is a great community to live, work and play.
Position Purpose

Facility/Location
Kingman Regional Medical Center – Mohave County, Arizona.
- Provide care under physician order/direction in compliance with patient guidelines; determine appropriate care, deliver emergency care as needed, and communicate rationale for therapy to the attending physician.
- Interpret blood gases and manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation parameters to meet therapeutic goals per physician orders.
- Manage time to complete patient workload per physician-prescribed schedule and document thorough patient assessments, therapy, and charges in patient records.
- Perform pulmonary initial evaluation/assessment and provide in-depth evaluation of patients with chronic lung conditions; assess needs during inpatient stay and end and participate in at least 80% of team staff meetings. Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of supplies and equipment.

Medical Gas and Humidity Therapy;
Patient Assessment and Monitoring;
Mechanical Ventilation (Invasive and Non-Invasive);
Pharmacology;
Diagnostic Testing;
Airway Management;
Blood Gas Analysis; EKG;
Bedside Pulmonary Function Testing;
Disease Management Education.
- Education:
Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program - Certification:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Licensure:
Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Arizona - BLS through American Heart Association
- ACLS through American Heart Association – within 6 months of hire or as per job description, then maintained.
- PALS through American Heart Association – within 6 months of hire or as per job description, then maintained.
- Outpatient PFT/Pulmonary Rehab: COPD Educator Course completion
- Adult Asthma Educator Specialist (AE-C) Certification
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in pulmonary rehab and/or pulmonary function testing
- Inpatient/ER/OBS: NRP, STABLE, COPD educator course, Bachelor’s degree, advanced certifications (ACCS, NPS, AE-C), and two years of respiratory experience with at least one year in adult/pediatric critical care
