Position OverviewPart‑time Paramedic supporting Kingman Fire Department with emergency medical services and staffing rapid response vehicles.
About the RoleRespond to emergency and non‑emergency incidents, deliver advanced and basic life support care in pre‑hospital setting and support community risk reduction and education. Work under direction of a Company Officer and assigned fire engineer within a 24/7 emergency services department.
Responsibilities- Emergency Medical Response & Patient Care (55%) – Respond to incidents, perform EMS functions, provide basic and advanced life support per protocols, make sound decisions under pressure.
- Training, Readiness & Documentation (20%) – Participate in trainings, shift meetings, drills, complete required records and reports, maintain certifications.
- Equipment, Station & Operational Support (15%) – Clean, maintain, restock apparatus and EMS equipment, assist routine station upkeep, support fitness program.
- Community Support & Departmental Participation (10%) – Assist public education, station tours, risk reduction activities; maintain professional relationships.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Arizona State Certification as a Paramedic.
- Hazardous Materials Awareness certification or equivalent.
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Availability for emergency call‑out and recall as needed.
- Maintain required certifications and comply with state regulations and medical control protocols.
