The Wisconsin Veterans Home in King (WDVA) is currently recruiting for multiple Nurse Clinician 2 (Registered Nurse) positions to provide direct and indirect care to members of our Veterans Home Home is a 24/7/365 long-term-care facility that specializes in providing comfort, support, and professional medical services to elderly or disabled veterans and their spouses.

Position Summary:
This professional nursing position is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care to a mostly geriatric and/or disabled population. The Nurse Clinician 2 provides direction to other staff in the provision and coordination of member care, and monitors care given by other health team members on a unit, floor, or in a building.
Salary Information:
The starting salary is between $41.61 and $48.16 /hour, based on years of licensure. Additional increases are based on years of licensure.
- $1.40/hour differential for 1st shift RNs that work hours between 6pm and 6am.
- $3.90/hour differential for 2nd or 3rd shift RNs for work hours between 6pm to 6am.
- A $3.00 /hour temporary add-on is currently being paid for hours worked Saturday and Sunday.
- $0.80/hour weekend differential applies to worked shifts.
- A $2,000 sign-on bonus applies to those with no prior state service in the last five years, who stay with the facility in the position until completing probation.
Qualifications:
Minimally qualified applicants will be licensed or eligible for a license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin or a Nurse Licensure Compact state. Additional required and preferred training and/or experience that will be assessed later in the selection process are:
