Description:
WHAT WE'RE DOING Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in King of Prussia, PA, supporting the EMC2 market segment. Our work supports United States Air Force and Navy programs within the Weapons Platform Integration organization, delivering software and systems that enable mission-critical capabilities.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex, high-impact systems while working in a collaborative, agile environment. THE WORK As a Software Engineer, you will be a key member of an agile development team, contributing to the design, development, integration, and testing of software solutions supporting EMC2 programs. You will work across the full software lifecycle and collaborate closely with systems engineers, architects, and fellow developers to deliver reliable, high-quality software.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the design and development of software components in support of mission-critical systems.
- Participate in agile development activities, including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Develop and maintain full-stack software solutions, contributing across front-end, back-end, and integration layers as appropriate.
- Support software testing activities, including unit, integration, and system-level testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration and resolve technical issues.
- Apply best practices for software quality, maintainability, and performance throughout the development lifecycle. Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related field and 1 year of post grad experience, a masters degree, or combined combination of education and experience.
- Programming experience in/with Java, Python, C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, JavaScript/Type Script, CSS/SASS, and Visual Studio.
- Must have Secret clearance to start with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance - Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
