Full Stack Software Engineer – Lockheed Martin Space

The Space Security Key area is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who will work in the office on a small team of high‑performing software engineers.

The Conductor program is developing a planning tool in a virtual cloud environment, and the candidate should have a broad engineering skillset and background in software development and the full software development lifecycle.

• Contribute as a member of the software scrum team to implement software features that maintain the existing software and add additional features.
• Develop new endpoints, mission code, and user interfaces using modern web frameworks, Git Lab pipelines, and automated unit tests.
• Utilize software development best practices and provide a system that meets enterprise milestones.
• Participate in the entire software engineering lifecycle, applying knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications.

• Experience with full software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software, information processing techniques, and system user requirements.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable code and to debug complex problems.

• Automated testing experience
• UI Design – CSS, Astro UX, Material
• Database Architecture – SQL
• UI Web Frameworks – Angular
• Design and creation of an API used by others (e.g., REST API, message broker‑based API)
• Understanding of orbits
• REST experience

Onsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
