As an Advent Geneva RSL Tech Lead, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting Geneva reports and development projects. You will leverage your expertise in Geneva RSL, SQL, and financial instruments to drive solutions for portfolio accounting and reporting. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, a keen understanding of financial data, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write Geneva reports (RSLs/SSRS) and develop Geneva-based solutions.
  • Support and troubleshoot Geneva-related issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Analyze and resolve problems by conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions.
  • Perform impact assessments for software changes and new development.
  • Escalate and coordinate issue resolution with relevant teams.
  • Maintain version control using GIT and follow best practices for software development.
  • Collaborate in architecture and technical design discussions, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Ensure software enhancements align with business needs and technical efficiency.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Provide on-time support to Geneva users while prioritizing critical client needs.
  • Minimize code defects and ensure software quality through rigorous testing and debugging.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
  • 5+ years of experience in RSL development.
  • Strong knowledge of Geneva, RSL, and SQL.
  • Understanding of financial instruments such as equities, bonds, swaps, and bank loans.
  • Proficiency in portfolio accounting concepts, including PNL, tax lots, trial balance, and cash ledger.
  • Experience with version control systems like GIT.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple modules.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Python and .NET.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn new technologies.
