ALL ABOUT FOOD & BEVERAGE

The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts of operations, process and efficiency. This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food and Beverage areas of the store.

As a Starbucks Barista, you will provide guests with a consistent Starbucks experience and craft handcrafted Starbucks products. You will support food quality and freshness management and follow state and federal food safety guidelines.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by preparing quality handcrafted beverages and food, prioritizing guest needs.
• Uphold and maintain Food & Beverage and Starbucks standards, including food safety.
• Execute food & beverage processes (delivery, replenishment, stocking, zoning, inventory, signing, backstock, etc.).
• Maintain awareness of promotional activities and ensure accurate labeling and pricing.
• Support Drive Up and digital order fulfillment; maintain an inviting dining area.
• Engage with guests, understand needs, and resolve questions on the spot.
• Follow packaging, labeling, and perishable inventory procedures; monitor temperature-sensitive items.
• Complete cleaning tasks and maintain sanitation as outlined in best practices.
• Adhere to safety requirements and report hazards.
• Assist with back-up cashier duties, order pickup, and drive-up while complying with laws and policies.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and technology equipment as directed.
• Ability to work independently and with a team; resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

• Accurate cash handling as needed.
• Ladder use and safe merchandise handling; ability to lift up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments; tolerance to common allergens.
• Mobility for the duration of the shift.
