Area Manager, Management Operations Manager

We are rapidly expanding our Papa John’s footprint across the Philadelphia DMA and are actively hiring multiple Area Managers to support restaurants in Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Bucks counties. This role is ideal for experienced multi‑unit leaders or high‑performing General Managers ready to step into broader responsibility.

Area Managers will be responsible for operational excellence, people development, and financial performance across a defined group of restaurants within their assigned county or sub‑market.

• Oversee 6–10+ restaurants within an assigned territory
• Lead, coach, and develop General Managers and Assistant Managers
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and cost control (labor, food, OER)
• Ensure brand standards across food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety
• Analyze KPIs and P&Ls to identify opportunities and gaps
• Execute company initiatives, promotions, and technology rollouts
• Support acquisitions, remodels, reopenings, and new store launches
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal labor regulations

• 3–5+ years of multi‑unit restaurant leadership experience (QSR preferred)
• Strong people leadership and accountability skills
• Solid financial and operational acumen
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Willingness to travel within Bucks, Montgomery, or Philadelphia County

• Papa John’s or major pizza brand experience
• Experience managing high‑volume, urban and suburban markets
• Background in acquisitions, turnarounds, or rapid growth environments
