- Responsible for comprehensive understanding of regulations.
- Ensures all programs assigned are in compliance with PA State Code, Title 55, Department of Public Welfare, CLA Programs Chapter 6400 regulations, Family Living Services Chapter 6500 regulations, and/or Unlicensed In Home & Community Support locations (compliant to Chapter 51 regulations) as well as in compliance with Agency policies and procedures.
- Participates and/or develops, if applicable, as the Plan Lead in the development of the Individual Service Plan, ISP Annual Update and all ISP revisions (fulfilling the role of Program Specialist).
- Attends the ISP, ISP Annual Update and all ISP revisions.
- Responsible for the coordination/completion of individual assessments for the development of the ISP, ISP Annual Update and all ISP revisions.
- Review the ISP, Annual ISP Update and all ISP revisions.
- Reviews all referrals by the county MH/ along with the Program Director and makes recommendations regarding individual admission to the program.
- Direct supervision of Direct Support Staff Supervisors or Life sharing Direct Support Staff with regularly scheduled face-to-face contact.
- Completes Performance Evaluations for Direct Support Staff Supervisors or Life sharing Direct Support Staff and reviews Performance Evaluations completed by Direct Support Staff Supervisors.
- Participates in facilitating supervisors’ meetings, inclusive of generating meeting agenda, directing the meeting, assigning tasks, and eliciting staff participation.
- Review records of Direct Support Staff Supervisor’s supervision with employees.
- Assists Direct Support Staff Supervisors with disciplinary actions.
- Conducts unannounced program monitoring visits on a regular basis to ensure areas of health, safety, and consumer welfare are compliant with Agency policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
- Facilitates the completion of orientation training for all new employees.
- Ensures staffing patterns reflect optimum opportunity for consumers to experience quality care and community integration.
- Ensures incidents are filed electronically in the PA EIM system.
- Conduct quality investigations and complete quality investigation reports.
- Ensures the completion and documentation of monthly site inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety and monitors sites through direct observation of various hours of service.
- An associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university plus 4 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license from state of residency.
