Job OverviewActs as a legal advisor to assigned internal clients in HPE's sourcing, quote to cash, logistics, engineering and enablement, and services organizations and to other company attorneys on legal matters related to HPE's global operations. The legal team also manages antitrust matters. Primary responsibilities include commercial contract negotiation, identifying and analyzing legal risk, and recommending solutions. Represents the company in transactions, inquiries, and disputes with customers, suppliers, partners, governmental agencies, and competitors.
Manages all aspects of commercial law, antitrust and competition law, audit compliance, dispute resolution, and transactional intellectual property law.
- Leads overall legal strategies and risks, providing specialized antitrust expertise that impacts the organization.
- Plans and facilitates training and mentoring strategies for senior managers, team members, and clients.
- Leads resolution of highly complex legal, regulatory, and business issues within antitrust law.
- Acts as a thought leader in antitrust and competition law, influencing internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced university degree in law (JD or LLB); additional advanced degree preferred.
- Meets local legal license requirements.
- Typically 6+ years commercial legal experience at a law firm or in‑house specializing in antitrust law.
- Extensive national and possibly international experience leading complex strategic projects and transactions.
- Recognized authority and subject‑matter expert in antitrust law sub‑areas.
- Advanced mastery of operating in the international legal environment.
- Mastery in negotiating or advising on highly complex, high‑impact legal matters.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, networking, and influence skills.
- English language skills to business standard required.
- Manages overall risk for a large global or regional business or leads complex commercial transactions.
- Provides specialized legal expertise in areas of strategic importance to the company.
Appropriate Review Board approval is required – Business Unit and Corporate Review Board.

Expected salary:
Annual USD 161,000 – 389,500 (United States – Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia). Variable incentives may also be offered.
