SQL Specialist

The Business Process and Systems Specialist partners with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights through SQL, reporting, and business intelligence tools. This role focuses on designing and maintaining dashboards, supporting reporting workflows, and collaborating with technical teams to improve processes and data quality.

• Build, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting and analytics.
• Design, develop, and publish interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI for stakeholders across finance, operations, and supply chain.
• Leverage SSRS or other reporting tools for operational or regulatory reporting when applicable.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely refresh of reporting systems.
• Partner with teams to learn ERP processes and assist with reporting, data extraction, or system support.
• Translate business needs into specifications for reporting or automation improvements.
• Identify gaps in reporting, data workflows, and processes; recommend automation or efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure BI solutions meet business needs.
• Support user training, documentation, and adoption of dashboards and reporting tools.

• Strong SQL experience (queries, joins, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• Proven hands-on Power BI experience (Desktop + Service, dashboards, publishing, refreshes).
• Minimum of 3 years in reporting, BI, or data analysis roles.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• SSRS experience.
• Python or scripting for automation.
• ERP or business systems exposure (finance, supply chain, operations).
