Associate Application Analyst – Digital/Mobile

The Corporate IS Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Associate Application Analyst – Digital/Mobile to support the implementation of UHS applications. The role requires monitoring the resolution of maintenance or enhancement issues, providing technical support across UHS entities, meeting deadlines, and ensuring high customer satisfaction while minimizing service disruption.
Key Responsibilities System ImplementationActivities:
- Tests, supports, and documents new applications or enhancements.
- Supports the implementation of applications.
- Performs or assists in unit and system testing.
- Provides documentation as needed.
- Adheres to UHS Project Management standards.
- Ensures strict adherence to work plans, notifying management of delays or obstacles.
- Assists staff in recommending application solutions to meet business and customer needs.
Activities:
- Researches and resolves Customer Support Center tickets, including major application upgrades.
- Adheres to UHS Service Level and Change Management Policies.
- Provides on‑call support as scheduled.
- Establishes and maintains regular communications with the user community.
Activities:
- Maintains Service Excellence principles.
- Prepares and promptly submits routine and special reports.
- Keeps management well informed of activities, needs, problems.
- Reviews and reports progress on an ongoing basis.
- Performs other tasks as required by management.
Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, with experience in relational databases, programming languages, source control, and project management concepts.
- Basic knowledge of system application implementation, enhancement, and support methods.
- Working knowledge of computer systems analysis and programming techniques, including consulting with users, design, development, documentation, testing, coding, debugging, and modification of programs.
- Basic knowledge of IS standards and quality methods and metrics.
- Basic knowledge of project management methods.
- General familiarity of user business practices, concepts, and terminology sufficient to support applications.
- SQL Server experience with views, tables, and stored procedures.
- .NET Framework experience.
- Visual Studio development experience.
Skills:
- Ability to test and support database interfaces and objects.
- Ability to create system and program‐level documentation and support documentation.
- Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.
0 – 5% domestic US travel (depending on projects).
