Cyber Security Architect – Threat Modelling

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 a year

• Responsible for creating DFDs, understanding security architecture documents, collaborating with development and security teams, and ensuring security is integrated throughout the system lifecycle.
• Key skills include knowledge of methodologies like STRIDE, risk assessment, and an understanding of security implications in system design and development.

• Conduct security design review and understand the security architecture of the application.
• Develop and maintain DFDs and correlate existing ones to system architecture, understanding the scope.
• Analyze security threats and risks related to applications and advise on mitigation strategies.
• Implement and run threat modelling tools and report vulnerabilities to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in tools like MS STRIDE, PASTA, Threat Modeler, etc.
• Provide remediation support for vulnerabilities, if needed.
• Enhance cyber security posture of the application.

Bachelor of Computer Science

• Proven experience in application security or secure software development.
• Familiar with OWASP Top 10, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.
• Good understanding of secure coding practices.
• Certifications like CEH, CISSP, OSCP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Documentation skills.
