Job Description

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll process. This role requires a highly organized, detail-driven payroll professional who is confident working independently and takes full ownership of payroll accuracy, timing, and compliance. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience running payroll within a structured environment, understands payroll systems and processes deeply, and communicates clearly while ensuring a smooth and reliable payroll experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manages the full cycle of the payroll in the country, including management of payroll software.
  • Prepares for and attends finance audits on topics related to the area of expertise.
  • Responds to payroll-related queries in the country.
  • Assists with periodic reporting to local tax authorities and with subcontractor timesheets and invoices.
  • Supports the Country Manager with aligning the total compensation and benefits package to PSI strategy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that presents the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • 3-5 years minimum experience in payroll administration required.
  • Experience processing payroll in a large organization strongly preferred.
  • Experience with payroll systems such as Workday and/or Paycom preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, controls, and compliance.
  • Ability to discuss payroll tax concepts and processes.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Clear and effective communicator with employees and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
