AR.Collections Associate-Medical Billing

Join us at InTouch Med Supply as an AR Collections Associate - Medical Billing. We are a growing nationwide supplier of urological supplies and an Inc 5000 company, seeking driven, energetic individuals with at least 2 years of experience in Medical Billing, AR, and Payer Collections. The AR Collections Associate will work with the Director of Billing and the billing team to ensure accurate and timely collection of payments from payers according to contracts.

• Reviewing claims to identify denials
• Researching, correcting, and resubmitting claims for reconsideration or appeal
• Entering remittance information from payers
• Processing claims, adjustments, and denials from healthcare and third-party insurance payers
• Identifying credits, write-offs, and patient responsibilities accurately
• Contacting insurance companies to resolve claim denial issues
• Preparing redeterminations, submitting appeals, and resubmitting claims
• Using insurance software and third-party websites (Navinet, Availity, PEAR) for claim research
• Understanding denial codes, rejection reasons, and filing limits
• Performing other duties as assigned

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent telephone skills and client interaction abilities
• Proven success in meeting quotas and goals
• Attention to detail and high accuracy

• Minimum 2 years in a similar role involving claims processing, payment posting, or claims research
• Ability to manage high claim resolution volumes effectively
• Experience with health insurance claims (UB-04, CMS-1500) and HCPC codes
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and database management software
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Hourly wages $20-$23, with overtime opportunities
