The Regional Director is responsible for overseeing the operations and service-line development of freestanding outpatient clinics across an assigned region of the Behavioral Health Division. This role will focus on clinical quality, financial sustainability, and regulatory compliance. This position oversees program development, budgeting, and financial performance, staffing models, and operational workflows to ensure clinics meet defined budgetary targets while delivering measurable improvements in patient outcomes that align with organizational goals, clinical best practices, and the company’s mission.
- Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for outpatient clinics in assigned territory
- Collaborate with clinic leadership to define and implement market goals, performance benchmarks, and quality standards. Provide guidance to Clinic Outpatient Directors on the delivery of outpatient treatment services
- Identify and execute expansion opportunities including new service lines, partnerships and geographic growth. Collaborate with local and national Business Development teams, ensuring alignment with new & existing service lines.
- Lead clinic development efforts for timely operationalization of services in strategically identified locations
- Ensure adherence to performance improvement benchmarks. Develop, review, and maintain the clinic’s performance improvement of tasks.
- Support program adherence to state and company incident reporting procedures.
- Support the implementation and adherence of program management and workflows pertaining to patient satisfaction and mental health outcomes
- Monitor and evaluate trends in outcomes, quality, and patient satisfaction survey data and evaluate. Partner with stakeholders to drive improvements and action plans.
- Performs other duties as assigned/required.
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology or a related field required.
- License in social work, marriage & family therapy, professional counseling, or related field.
- Minimum 5-years of progressive behavioral health experience in multi-site strategic growth. (8-10 years preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience within an outpatient setting, including program & service-line development, with proven success in the implementation & scaling of service lines
- Proven track record of driving performance, improving access to care, and leading teams towards strategic goals.
- Strong understanding of outpatient behavioral health service delivery models including PHP, IOP, Traditional Outpatient, in both a brick & mortar and virtual setting.
